Default Hondata Flashpro results and initial impressions

As many of you already know, I had my car tuned recently with the newly released Hondata Flashpro. You may also know that I have the Kraftwerks high boost supercharger kit on my car. With out going into all of my history, I would like to give my results and initial impressions of some of the differences now both before and after the re-tune.

Please note all of my modifications listed in my signature. These dyno charts only reflect my car with these modifications. Others may or may not have similar results.

Driving:
Even though there is only a 6hp peak gain, there IS a drivability difference. My VTEC is now at 3800 and is only noticeable if you know what you are listening for. The VTEC change is almost undetectable. The midrange is considerably better. Freeway driving at 70-75mph in 6th is abundantly great. It was NOT in any way bad before…it is just simply better now.

Dyno’s:
Listed in the charts below you will see the before and after AFR’s (air to fuel ratio’s).

I don't really see any significant differences in your power curve, but the AFR sure looks a lot safer.

Is that a/f post cat? looks like it to me. Hope they tuned it with a pre-cat wideband 02 sensor!

You're running a much safer tune AND you picked up power. Win-win.

Was it a base tune on an EMU that had you running so lean?

^ good catch, I fail. That does look like the base tune is dangerously lean! yikes.

the base tune is for a stock car. Its not meant to be run with a J's header and cat ... My car with a test pipe runs richer than his base, not a lot but at least does not get so close to 14:1.

On a side note; if I reflash the ECU with Flashpro, will the stock KW tune be gone forever? When you unlock the Flashpro the ECU goes back to factory or KW tune?
