I average 25mpg, never had any better from a tank. I've been on blasts that have taken the gauge down to half in 80 miles though when doing it properly.
Tyres make a big difference, I could imagine someone without high performance tyres getting over 30 though.

I've never heard of 350-400 miles from a tank of fuel on an S.
It must of been driven all of those miles at 55 mph downhill with a tail wind
I'm with PhilipGB - if you are getting more than 25 mpg you are not driving / enjoying the car as it was designed to be driven!!

No one seems to have mentioned its got a 50L tank so the maths is easy, on mine the light comes on with 10L left, the fuel gauge is notoriously inaccurate so you can't even compare like for like.
Stick to SUL it goes better, and gives you slightly better MPG that makes it more economical than 95RON, I didn't belive it till I tested the theory and found I get 25 more miles per tank.
If you use Tesco 99RON you can collect the 5p vouchers and use up to 3 at a time, so make sure you get a good fill up with 15p per Liter off.
EDIT - You only get 30mpg motorway cruising, if you are granny driving.

MPG threads really are depressingly boring.
There's about 5000 of them in the search, all regurgitating the same stuff.
It's a 2 litre engine with 340 ish cc injectors.
It's not going to break the bank to fuel it!

I never run my car low on fuel with the exception being yesterday. My fuel light came on, I did exactly 10 miles of driving like a granny & filled up at my local shell getting in 45.91 litres.
I reckon my fuel light must come on when I've got about 6-7 litres left.

Maybe we can divert this away from fuel (which is a given that you have to put fuel into it) to reliability.
I ran my last Exige for 18 months and didn't spend a penny on anything going wrong with it.
The S2000 has a lot of smaller inherent issues imo. TCT rattles, seized suspension bushes, worn soft tops, hesitation in traffic on some cars, brake calipers seizing, etc etc. No different to ay other cars foibles but I certainly wouldn't say it's bombproof.
Servicing wise, i'd be tempted to use a specialist rather than a main dealer as costs are lower and competence is probably higher.
