Default AFI Turbo WHERE ARE MY PARTS?

Here's the deal, I needed a new set of dump tubes made for my manifold so I contacted AFI via email. They promptly responded stating that it would be $250.00 shipped and would take 2 weeks to get them done(2/26/13). I paid the same day and expected to have a tracking number after two weeks. After nearly a month went by I emailed AFI again asking for an ETA I was emailed back by Brad and he told me he had been off for personal reasons and would let me know what was going on once he returned to work. Several days passed with no email so I contacted them again (3/22/13). I was told they would be done that weekend and that was the last I heard from AFI until I started complaining on their Instagram weeks later. It's now going on 2 months since I paid to have these pieces fab'd. I have emailed them several times since the 22nd of March as well as trying to contact them via other means. If anyone knows these guys point them to this post I want an ETA or my money back. This is ridiculous and their customer service is horrible I don't know how they run a business when they can't even email paying customers back.

Not surprised.

This isn't the first time I've read something like this.

File a claim and get your money back, just another shop that takes peoples money and doesn't produce.

this has happened to be as well. purchased a manifold/downpipe, dump tube set. they kept telling me they were getting built. called back after some time, expecting updates (didn't want to badger them) and found out that the person i was dealing with (brad sounded right) had left the company and didn't leave any trace of the order. dealt with the owner of AFI and had to send in credit card receipts sicne I was then requesting a refund. After a little over 1.5 years, got my refund and purchased the full blown setup. Was intending to purchase their intake manifold, but steeered away due to their customer service.

Took me 7 months to get replacement dump tubes for the ones that cracked on me. Sold the manifold and went Fullblown.

Sounds like a company to NOT deal with, sorry you are having the issue, but thanks for the heads up for the rest of us.

Not a problem. One would think a company that sponsors a car in Formula D and has a World Time Attack car would be a little more professional. Apparently I was wrong...

stay away from AFI, trust me... Brad owns AFI now, and while he is doing his best to keep the company alive..its a matter of time until it goes belly up

Same here I placed my order march 20th for a turbo kit minus the turbo and I've gotten the same run around. I'm lucky I'm in AZ and have been down there a few times since I've placed the order but I have yet to see a actual part for my car. I'm in the same boat where I'm about to ask for a refund and go with full race.
