I LOVE this car. The PPG box really completes the car. The good news is I have the MPH for a 9 second car, the bad news is my car doesn't have a 9 second driver, lol. I went to the open test & tune and found out they only prep the track when they have gamblers or an event. At least now I know when to go? I made 3 passes. I left off the two step on the first one and spun like made and cut a 2.2 60ft, lol. That pass I ran 11.930 @ 139.21. I short shifted and being it was my first pass I didn't expect much. Second pass I tried to pre-load and bogged, lol. I cut another 2.248 60 ft and ran an 11.3 @ 142.00
I started talking to a guy in a really nice Orange Z06 with intake, headers, cams, exhaust and a tune. He said it ran 10.8s, was a really nice car. He asked if I wanted to run him, I say sure
he left first and I bogged but sure enough by top of third I was literally flying by him. After the run he came up to me and said he really couldn't believe how fast my car was. I fealt good. It's amazing how quickly it goes into the next gear and how smoothly it does it.
The third pass I basically left just as I was revving it up to the two step not trying to get too high RPM wise and I bogged again, but was a decent pass. Here is the slip.
