MIMMS HONDA DAY - Sunday 27th April *
Mimms Honda Day Sunday, 27/4/14 - 09:00 - 18:00
EHM parts brings you the new Mimms Honda Day, promising to be the largest in UK.
Attracting people from Holland, Belgium, France, Ireland, Isle of Wight, Scotland, Wales and all over England showcasing the best Hondas from these countries.
Since outgrowing the lorry/coach and main car park of South Mimms services, the event had to be moved to North Weald Airfield which will accommodate a lot more cars and entertainment.
There will be BBQs and food stalls, Centre stage with music from some of the leading DJs in the country, Shisha tent, Prizes/trophies, Giveaways, Rolling Road, Dancers/Models, RC circuit, Magazine/video/blog coverage, Place to wash your car on arrival and more to be confirmed.

Location - North Weald Airfield, Merlin Way, North Weald, Essex, CM16 6HR
After the success that was South Mimms PT 1, 2 and 3, I will be organising S2KUK's Club convoy and presence on the day.
As we have always done, we will meet and convoy to the location.

To date there are over 550 confirmed attendees with other Honda clubs in attendance.
This event will be filmed and there will be a few magazine photographers present too.

Earlybird price £8.50/person before the end of January
£10.50/person in advance (fees included)
£15/person on the gate
Includes 5% discount off EHM Parts online store, For children under the age of 14, admittance is free.

ONCE YOU HAVE PURCHASED A TICKET, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAILED E-TICKET. PRINT IT OFF AND BRING IT WITH YOU

Standard, modified and hellaflushed S2000's are all welcome. Our club area in South Mimms was one of the best
there and we wowed everyone upon arrival and line up. I'm sure we can do that again.
If you have a build project going, this is an ideal place to show it off and get coverage.
I have been speaking with the organizer and Team S2KUK will have a good location

CONVOY DETAILS
The convoy meetup postcode is SOUTH MIMMS SERVICES.
Convoy distance is 23.8 miles, taking an estimated 31 mins to drive.
The convoy will be lead by Sazzy in her Silver S2000.
The meeting point is here:
Meet at 08:00. (Yes... I know its an early start although judging by the number of people
attending, we need to get there early to get a good spot).
Safety Briefing, key car assignments and handing out of walkie talkies will occur at 08:15.
Leaving at 08:30 arriving at North Weald Airfield for 09:00.
We will be leaving promptly and will not wait for any stragglers so please be on time
I want to get there early so we can get the good parking places.
Convoy Route as below:
From South Mimms, We will exit onto the m25 (towards stansted).
We will continue along the M25 until we get to J27 where we will join the M11.
M11 until J7 where we will come off and join the A414 (Canes Lane)
We will then reach a roundabout where we turn right onto Rayley Lane.
There will be another roundabout where we head straight over onto Merlin Way where
the final destination will be, North Weald Airfield (CM16 6HR)

Preparation:
Being a part of the group, we will draw attention and so be prepared for your car being photographed or included in video footage during the
convoy, on arrival and through the course of the day.
Please make sure your car is clean and presentable, before you set off.
As always, there will be high police presence along the route to, and at South Mimms. Please make sure that you're legal in every sense
(plates, insurance, VED etc) to avoid problems.
Please make sure you fuel your car before the convoy, as we will not be stopping for once we leave.
Convoy Etiquette:
Once we leave, we will head onto the m25. There are a couple of traffic lights before you get to the motorway which will inevitably
split the convoy. DO NOT PANIC or run a red light. Once we are on the M25 we will plod along slowly for the first mile and a half to give
the rest of the convoy a chance to rejoin the convoy once they get on the m25 too. If you're catching up to us you will see us in the left lane.
To rejoin the convoy, approach the middle of it, indicate in and one of us will fall back a bit to open up a space to allow you and the rest
of the guys to join the line. Once we are all together we will pick up the pace and head to our final destination.
Please keep within the speed limits during the entire convoy and drive with the level of care and attention as appropriate to the situation.
Arrival at North Weald.
Upon arrival I will attempt to park at a point where we can start a line up. Please join the line up in the order that you arrive in.
Do not leave any valuables in your car and make sure it is locked and your hood is up if you want to wander off and look around.
