The Garage Blog
In today's episode of 'The Garage' we removed all of my geo bolts which had allegedly been greased the last time I had my geo adjusted & looked like this:
I think I was told a load of porkies as there was no sign of grease anywhere. After being gently massaged by Ron's delicate hands and a large helping of emery paper my bolts looked like this:
Ray then got his cutting tools out and set about cutting out my seized compliance bushes which looked like this:
And then set about replacing them with nice new shiny Mugen ones:
A day wouldn't be complete without some monkeying around
Sadly we discovered that popping flames does nasty things to my rear bumper
Anyway, back to it & sorting the geo settings which were to my choice
A huge thanks to the dynamic duo of Ray & Ron for their mechanical expertise, Lee for doing the buttie run and for being head tea lady with Alex as his lovely assistant and to everyone else who helped out with getting all of this sorted within the space of a few hours

Had them done in June 2010 by Buckley Tyres who are local to me and they advised at the time that one of the adjustments on the front was seized but didn't specify which one & to be fair I didn't ask.

Good stuff!
How did it drive afterwards?
Just out if interest what would a ball park figure be for polybushing and having the Geobolts done?
Planning on having it done myself so wondering how much I need to save!
TGM are offering a full polybush service, just to clarify would I need new casters (mugen/spoon)?
Anyway looks like you had a fun day!
