S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

You know what they say about Opinions, Right?
You mean the post where I said without a hardtop it would be south of 25k and even with a hardtop I mentioned that 27k+ would be a stretch even for BAT?

Oh yeah, that one. Still stand by it.

Looks like this thread hasn't been active for a while... just wanna see what's you.guys opinion on the price under the current market condition.

A BB 2008 CR with 58k miles, #31, I was able to find the some info about it on the forum, one of the previous owners posted to sell this car back in 2017 for 26.5k with 56k miles on the clock, he mentioned he did took the car to several autox and one track day. Now with 2k more miles, the current owner is not listing it for sale, but is willing to sell it personally to me for 40k. The mileage and previous HPDE driving isn't too much an issue to me, cuz i would also take it to autox and occasional track days. Mileage is also good to me because its not too low to the point where price goes crazy and I can afford driving it a few thousand miles a year, and not too high to be worry about the mechanical condition.

IMO it seems to be a fair price under the current market, want to know what's everyone's opinion on this, thanks!

a BB CR with minor dmg history + 98k miles sold for 40k (plus fees) back in late march, so with that for reference, 40k for a car with less miles sounds appealing (although BAT does tend to overprice a bit + not sure about the condition of the car you're looking at)

If no accidents, that's a great deal.
