Soft Top shop near Boston
Anyone have experience with soft top repair/replacement in the Boston area? Looking for a reliable shop to diagnose and repair some top leakage. Trying to stay local but will go to Billman if I must.

If the side gutters are clogged they can back up and overflow into the car. Easiest way to unclog them without disassembling your interior is to run a coat hanger up through the bottom of the drain. The drain exits just in front of the rear wheel in the wheel well area. Do a search I'm sure some results will pop up.

I've been considering replacing mine; found a place called Belmont Seat Cover (Belmont MA). Great ratings on Angies List. Quoted me $1000 installed for the original vinyl; $1200 cloth. 2 days to do the job.
I have been getting patched up at a place called American Auto Seat Cover in Nashua NH. You can call Ben at 603-882-4561. Couldn't find any reviews on this guy.

What PJRider said, the only thing is.... I scheduled an appointment with the guy 2 years ago, then when I showed up guy was a prick. I laughed at him and promptly left.
The shop area was tight and the edges of the door would lean against bare and not so smooth concrete walls.So overall I didn't feel comfortable getting my top done there.

I had American Auto Seat Cover in Nashua NH quote a replacement with an original "Honda" top; $1550.00 They have been patching my top for the last year and a half. Small problem; as of Sept 1, they will be closing so I have to get it done by then if I go with them. It's a father/son outfit. Son, nice guy. Father, not so nice unless his biting sarcasm is his idea of customer service or he just doesn't care. The "Dad" plans on retiring and if does soft tops after Sept. he won't do Hondas - too much trouble.
Belmont seat came in at $1000 for a vinyl top but it's "not from Honda".
I'm waiting for a few more quotes.
