Any S2000 owners interested in attending a Cars and Coffee we're having one in the Starbucks parking lot Taunton, Ma.(across from Home Depot) at 9:30 Sunday June 8th. Take Rt. 24 Exit 12 Rt.140 left at end of exit 1/2 mile down on your left. While this was a Porsche event there is a large mix of cars. Last one we had there were more Lotus's(or is that Loti?) than there were Porsches. Love to see some S2000's make it. Typically these are held every other Sunday although other local events sometimes shifts date.

Is this the same meet that the Ferrari guys attend? I know there is a Starbucks meet in Taunton usually with them.

I'm out of town in NY doing a Spartan race, but I would love to attend a future event!

Yes. There have been a couple of Ferrari's at each of the two meetings they've had this year.

That's about an hour drive for me each way. Is it just hanging around and chatting, or is there some purpose to the meet? Do people drive afterward?

Yes it's just hanging out for 90 minutes. They do sometimes schedule group drives but it's a separate event from Cars and Coffee.

I don't think it's worth a two hour round trip but then again it gives you an excuse to take your S2000 out for a spin. Isn't that the reason you bought it? Only 15 minutes for me.

Given that I'm taking it out for three hours each way the day before, I think I'll be OK. I'll probably pass on this event, maybe when there's one closer. I still haven't been to an S meetup since picking mine up last fall.
