StartingLine - Autocross instruction
Is anyone familiar with this program?
Startingline
There is a session on July 12 in Ayer, MA. I was considering checking it out. I may ride up just to watch as part of me wants to do it, and another part is afraid to try. I may just watch and see if I want to try it another time.

DO IT!
Auto-X is the best place to learn about your car! You drive where you are comfortable and good instructors help you learn your car, handling, and lines through corners. They only thing to hit are cones, they leave a little mark but come out with some clay bar and elbow grease.
I wish I had more time to Auto-x myself, but I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about their car in a responsible way!

I will tell you this: when you get there to watch, you will wish that you signed up. Sign up and have fun with the day!
I know most of the instructors and they are all fun people to be with. You will not be dissappointed.

Well, just found out that I have a family obligation that afternoon so its a moot point now... I may still ride up to watch the am session if weather is nice.

If you want to come watch, this Sunday at Devens the BMWCCA is doing an autocross and we allow ride-alongs with experienced drivers. A good time to arrive would be around 1pm.
