It's not intended to be a "group drive" as much as a "here is a great drive you could do".
We've done threads like you suggest in the past but they die out pretty fast usually.
If you have roads to suggest, you can always PM me the link to the route and give some description and I can add it to the suggested drives thread or make a PDF drive plan and we can insert it as well.

Once the wife and I are fully moved into our home in Beaverton, I'm going to do the Astoria drive, that looks like a lot of fun. I've taken a few roads from Portland to the coast, but that was in my ol' FWD Acura RL

The 53 off of 26 down to nehalem is a pretty darn fun technical road!

Hey all,

Just got back from my camping trip. The drive was nothing short of epic. If I could, I'd build a house just off to the side of the road and drive it every day. Friday morning, we headed out to Crater Lake since I've never been. Little did she know, I had a ring in my back pocket. Long story short, she said "yes" and didn't expect a thing.

Here are some pics!

Thanks guys!

And thanks again for the route info Aaron. We had a lot of fun hanging out with you and Shonda as well. Gotta do it again sometime!
