Default Christchurch Tyres

I've just finished polybushing the car, and so needed an alignment doing. I have been to Christchurch Tyres before, and they did a good job. Today they did another good job, but it was a bit easier this time as none of the bolts were siezed. They told me that I was the third or fourth S2000 they had had in this week! All of the others had siezed bolts somewhere, so it was a pleasure to get one that had none.

So if anyone in the Dorset or Hampshire area (or further afield, if you like) needs an alignment, I can well recommend Christcurch tyres.

They did say the s2000's they see were mainly track cars - and one 700 bhp turbo charged one! Anyone on here?

It's my regular place for tyres and geo - always good service and very careful with your alloys etc They're a little bit wary of non-standard geo settings and give me the excess tyre wear talk every time, and they have a bit of a fascination with staggered camber on the front, but that's the only look-outs for any newbies.

I wonder if the turbo'd S is Kitesurfer Lee's - he's from Lymington. Not sure he's quite hit 700hp yet though

I just got them to set everything to standard settings - although I did refuse the staggered camber for British roads offer. I said I'd cope with cambered roads myself with the big round thing in front of me. Oh, and I did think 700 bhp was a bit optimistic!

They are good!

If you know you have seized bolts I think they have sorted a few, but better off getting Veysport to sort them, as he has cutting gear if needed, then pop to Christchurch for the geo. Two of the few places of recommend getting work done

Thanks. Thinking this winter to paint mark positions of bolts, strip out and regrease and set back to paint marks, hopefully they will then
be about right. Will then get them set up. This being that nothing is seized of course. Is this a good plan? What you think guys.

Sounds like a plan. Good luck with getting the bolts free. All my rears came apart (with a little persuasion) but I had to cut the four front lowers. I'd invest in a sabre saw and some good quality blades if I were you!
