(I was hoping to be able to tell you all in person or in a different thread).

Westinghouse may be bringing me in full time after 3 years as a contractor. I have the opportunity to go work in the field at a new nuke plant we are building in Abu Dhabi for 2-3 years and take the family with me. It is a killer position and WEC makes it worth my time ($$$$$). Renee and I are very excited about this opportunity and it looks like we could be going before the end of the year. It has been 6+ months in the making but everything is NOT locked down yet.

THAT BEING SAID!

I have no plans on leaving this forum. I love it here and I would not be selling the house or the car while we are over there. I plan to continue to support S2Ki and Allegheny however I can and use this forum to stay in touch with you all. Should I leave I was going to talk with the new nomination(s) for CO and explain the situation and what they are getting themselves in to. To be honest I hope to stay on as CO with you guys even if I am living remotely for a few years. I figure there are plenty of admin duties I can handle there and help out with but it TOTALLY understand if I leave if you want someone(s) else in my place.

I hear old Toyota pickups are cheap nearby there. They come equiped with a .50 cal & tripod in the bed. Might come in handy during rush hour!

I was offered the Full Time position on 10-15 and accepted on 10-16! Thanks for all of the support over the past weeks/months with this. I hate to throw out a date of when I will be leaving but it looks like the beginning of the year right now. In the mean time I just found out I have to go to Korea on a business trip and will be gone for a few weeks between now and thanksgiving! Hope to see all of you between Thanksgiving and Christmas!
