I also have an Amp mounting tray I fabricated to maximize trunk space, while allowing easy access to the spare tire & Amp adjustments.

I took a few pics of the amplifier tray I fabricated a few years back.

The Brackets at the top are pop-riveted to the chassis of the car, then held to the tray itself with screws & washers. The bottom of the tray is mounted with screws & nut clips.

When the tray is properly located, the trunk lid bracket will clear the tray when closing the truck and you will also be able to remove the spare tire without any extra difficulty.
