Holiday Cookie Party 2014
The Holiday Cookie Party Will Take Place on Saturday, December 20 starting at 5:30 PM
Barbara and I are pleased to invite all of you to a holiday cookie party.
Guests are encouraged to bring cookies to share with the other guests.
If we have enough interested people attending, then we will appoint a panel of cookie experts to test all cookies and issue awards.
There will be a Yankee Swap.
If you wish to participate, bring a wrapped gift valued between $15 and $20 for the gift table. Participants will then pick a number from a hat. Participants choose and open a gift in the order of the numbers chosen. If you do not like your gift, then immediately after you open it, you can force a player who selected earlier to trade with you. After everyone chooses, player 1 may trade with anyone. (if couples want to bring one gift they can play as a couple but only get one gift. If they both want a gift, they must each bring a gift.)
This is a great chance to meet and spend some time with your local S2Ki buddies.

Approximate Schedule
5:30 Cocktails and appetizers
6:30 Dinner, consisting of two sandwich trays, lasagna, and a hot dish that a guest is bringing, plus salad.
7:30 Cookie sampling and contest
8:30 Yankee Swap
9:00 Socializing and drinking and eating leftovers from dinner and cookies
I have the pool table and ping pong table set up in the basement for those who like friendly competition.
Please let me know if you will attend on this thread.

We should probably have a price recommendation for the Yankee swap. Our office party is generally ~20 give or take.
Honestly, I'm still using the swap gift I got last time around. I got a Broadway mirror which I use in my Honda Element. Style-wise it works well for a big blue box to have a big blue tinted mirror.

$15 to $20 sounds ok to me. Is that too much? We could make it $10 to $15...
