1.4% Faster than the RE-11A
Might be giving up the Water Capabilities the RE-11A had, I believe those are the best extreme tire in water.

This is a cool Pic of the progression of the Bridgestone Extreme Tire.. 12% faster than the custom RE-71 used on the 959.

Saw these pop up on the Bridgestone Japan site. Hoping the price range stays at the current RE-11A level.

Tread pattern looks strikingly similar to the Direzza ZII. I wonder what the treadwear rating on this tire is going to be.

Prob 180 tread wear. We will see. I guess a few new tires will be coming out for the Tokyo auto show

Jim@Tirerack confirmed these will come stateside in 2015, maybe as early as the Spring.

Not sure on pricing yet though.
