Default Side Strake Repair

Hello!

So the previous owner installed the OEM Side Strake Kit and the person/dealership Drilled a hole through the rear wheel panel.

I can just install them back on the car but I like the looks of the car without them on, should I just leave them on or get the spots repaired from a body shop?

Anyone else had this problem or have a resolution from someone's mistake..

what color is the car?
You can get it fixed at a shop for an expensive price, or just get a sticker sheet close to the color of your car and get a 1 inch hole puncher and use the sticker for the hole. No one will notice!

2003 Silverstone - Stickers.. Didn't think about that. I stumbled upon some bumper plate hole covers. I order them. If it all works out i should be able to modify this part to go over top it. The sticker sheet would be hard to find for a matching color, but I appreciate the insight sir.

Still wish they didnt drill a hole in the car.

The hole is part of the mounting procedure. Repair the hole.

Two choices, use a rubber or plastic grommet as a temporary fix to fill the hole. Preferable way would be to use a filler to repair the hole, and then try to paint to match.
The best way to repair the hole would be a weld, a cheaper alternative would be a metal mesh patch to attach the filler to.

Does the look of them bother you that much? If not I would just leave them on and keep the hole covered.
If you want to sell them at a good price let me know!

You could probably use one of those paint-matched keyhole plugs for the hole.
