Default Mikey81 - 2008 S2000

The 350z lasted for a whole 2 months and i have bought another S2000 today. 350z will be cleaned up and advertised, i'm in no rush to sell it so will flick between both cars for a while.

I will update this will full details and pictures as i am getting it over a pit tomorrow

The car is a 2008 S2000 in silver with black leather, 36k and full Honda history. It has a couple of extras like the hardtop and heated seats. It just feels soo right to be sat back in a S2000, even when the wife was following me home and the 350z does look good.

Photos stolen from the advert as its too dark at the moment

I have been tempted to swap the S for Z in the past. Why the change?

The 350z is a nice car but it's just soo heavy, it weighs 1550kg and the extra 300kg is noticeable in everything apart from acceleration as it is definitely quicker than the S2000 in a straight line.

I honestly think if i bought the 350z after a bmw/mercedes/audi it would be fine but the S2000 is a hard act to follow

I had a meeting today in Birmingham so had chance to have a longer drive in the S2000, it just feels soo right to be behind the wheel of one again.

So that's nearly 400 miles done since buying it

I parked the 2 cars side by side and it shows just how much bigger the 350z is compared to the S2000

Gave the 350z a quick clean as it wasn't really dirty, but it will be advertised soon

This afternoon we went to visit the parents in law, on the way home there was a horrible noise from the passenger side rear going over bumps, i figured it was something in the boot hitting.

When i got home i had a look under the car and the passenger side was covered in fresh fluids which smelt like petrol. So out with the tools and jack to get the wheel off to investigate. When i started taking a closer look at the shock it appears that the seal has gone. The car has Nitron R1 suspension, but looking at the receipts they are nearly 3 years old and have done 16k.

Luckily i have the original shocks and springs which i am going to get re-fitted for now and have a look into getting the Nitrons re-built.

Nitron rebuild is pricey, if Nitron do it.

That's not too bad considering the original purchase price. It seems to be right in the 'window' of when they should be done anyway.

Cheers for the link

Seems like a brand new car to me!
(and I've now read about the Nitron problem..)

Nevertheless, nice pick up and very low mileage.

Shall I guess the price at 14.5k ?

Enjoy
