Introducing CNC Speedshop’s 8.8” rear end differential conversion kit for the S2000. This patent pending kit replaces the OEM Honda differential and axles with a Ford 8.8” differential and axles. The kit is the most complete on the market and requires no modification to the vehicle.
This kit has been specifically engineered to direct the driveline stresses in the same way that the OEM’s engineered the parts. This means the front mounts will not break off and the loads are distributed properly to the OEM s2000 bushing locations. The cradle and differential case have been designed to work together with the vehicle to ensure it can handle the abuse. Although we build our mounting cradles out of steel, as opposed to a weaker metal, the kit is only 15 lbs. heavier than the OEM parts that are being replaced.
The kit includes a brand new differential assembly. All new Ford differential case, cover, pinion flange and all new differential internals are assembled to spec by East Coast Gear Supply before arriving at your door. This means you won’t be digging around a junkyard, hoping you are able to find a used differential that fits and is in any sort of usable condition. Our differentials also come with a 5 year warranty.
We are offering two kits that cater to differing power levels.

We very highly recommend professional installation. Please note that care should be taken to lubricate assembly bolts to avoid differential bushing twist if you are retaining your stock bushings. While not necessary, removing the charcoal canister and exhaust during installation will make for a more efficient install process.
Custom colors are available for the differential mounting cradle. Please provide the powder coating color code when ordering. Please allow 14 days for building time as each differential is built to customer spec.
