Well, here is a more advanced idiotic question....I have ONLY the valet key and one remote for my '05. How should I proceed without incurring nightmare costs and wasted time? We do have a good locksmith in our town and a not-so-great Honda dealer. I need two master keys and one fob. Don't ask how this happened, since I am too embarrassed to relate the story. Thanks for any assistance.

The price of the keys has gone up - I had Beaverton Honda cut 2 keys for my 03 several years ago. I think the price was about $22.00 total. I did not get additional remotes, just keys.

That's odd. It was Beaverton Honda that quoted me the $320. They also wanted (from memory) more than $200 to diagnose a check engine light. You must know the secret code word Is it "taco?" I bet it's "taco."
