Default seats: Cobra Imola vs. Racer, Sparco Evo vs. Rev

I'm about to get a seat for my FD. Since the S2k community is a lot bigger, I thought I'd tap into the braintrust here

Research so far has led me to these options which should fit into the FD with minimal mods:
Cobra Imola Pro-Fit
Cobra Racer Pro-Fit
Sparco Evo
Sparco Rev

I am 5'10", 33"x33" pants, 38-40 jacket, 160 lb. The car will be tracked a fair amount and driven on the street a fair amount, including long road trips. So looking for a compromise that is snug but not *TIGHT*. Some leanback is desired to ensure helmet clearance, it appears that these options are somewhat similar in that regard.

Looking for feedback from people who have used or sat in these seats. Lemme know how you think I'd fit into them.

Thanks!
dan

The seat fit me like a glove - arguably the best fitting seat I've ever sat in. However, I'm a bit smaller than you. 5'6", 135lbs, 29"x30" pants, 38 jacket. The owner was probably 5'8", 170lbs, maybe 32" waist. They were a bit snug for him. Maybe the Imola Pro GT is a better choice?

Should be the same seat. "Pro Fit" gives thin, medium, thick options on back, bottom, and thigh cushions. I could get it with low-profile bottom and thigh cushions, but that only helps in the height area, doesn't make it less tight.
Pretty sure the larger GT doesn't fit in the FD, too wide. Not many seats do! A fellow FD owner has the Imola. He's 5'9" and mid-40s jacket, he says it's tight on him but he doesn't mind. Hmmm...

At the very least, I think this eliminates the Cobra Racer, it's ~2" tighter than the Imola!

Thanks for the feedback

I have a pair of Imola Pro Fit in my S2000. Purchased new at HMS. I am 5'11" 33 waist, 170 lbs, very similar to you. The seat is snug on my hips. But comfortable. Its tight getting the lap belts on and adjusted, but that is just as much because of the S2000 tight interior.

I do just track days, but can drive to tracks about 2 hours away. Once I am in the seat, its great.

I am very happy with the seats.

Not to complicate things, but I just bought an OMP ARS-R that is super comfortable for my passengers seat. The only consideration would be the harness hole height, it is not as high as the Cobra. Worth a look, if you can check one out. I know of a store that has one in case you go that route. PM me.

Thanks for the info, Mike! Snug but comfortable will work Very good to know because the Imola looks like about the only seat that fits me, that will also fit in the car without some butchery...
