Portland friends, I will be doing a track day at PIR, and was wondering what would be my best option for a hotel stay in terms of good/safe area? it doesn't have to be very close to the track, about 30 min drive is acceptable, but the closer to the track the better, not looking for a luxury high end stay either, something affordable, safe and clean.

Oxford Suites in Jantzen Beach. One exit north, serves a decent breakfast in the morning as part of the stay.

I've stayed here almost exclusively for the past half dozen years when I race down in Portlandia.
