Sounds good.

If you can post some pics of the roof then that would be great. I'd rather pay someone to do the work locally then drive all the way down to Brighton to get Monsoon to do it.

I will try and post some pics asap. I had thought of using Monsoon Hoods but put the cost and time that I don't have spare to travel and stop over ruled that out. The guy is genuine and does a great job, the roof is top quality, neat straight stitching, no glue over spill and a new heated rear screen. Not disappointed and I would use him again.

Thank you, I'm really keen to see the end product.

Are the areas behind the drivers right shoulder reinforced with additional material? Apparently Monsoons hoods are to stop the "dreaded" wear.

Anyone got any recommendations for just buying a roof on it's own? I have a friend in the upholstery business who is willing to fit the roof for me as a favour, who has done many over the years, so I'm in the market for just the top.

I've found prices of £395 from The Car Trimming Company and £483 from Monsoon. Not sure what the difference is between the 2 as they are both Mohair?

Also, with the ripping of the roof by the catches. this is caused by the elastic straps (right above your head) losing their stretch, meaning the hood doesn't fold properly and allowing the catches to push against the roof material.
