Long weekend, but she came out pretty good
I've always been a fan of the S2K, and this winter i decided i had to have one. Ended up with an '07 BB with 35,000 on the clock. In pretty good shape overall, but the paint needed some attention. The front fascia is still fairly pitted, but i have done a lot to mitigate the flaws.
After a wash, strip, clay, sand, cut, polish, seal, and wax (conservative 16 hours), she cleaned up pretty good.

I recently detailed a BB CR. Even wiping it caused very light defects - that's how soft the paint was! If you don't mind me asking, how bad was the paint to require wetsanding that cutting wasn't enough?
Good work btw!

The other sanding was on the over abundance of touch up paint. On both my RSX-S and the S2K it seems like they let a monkey loose with the paint pen. If the chip was the size of a penny, it always seems to have a quarters worth (or worse) of touch up paint on them. I go through and sand off the crowns of the extra paint to try and get the surface level. As you know, once you get the paint starts looking like a mirror, it seems like every little flaw is highlighted.
I still consider myself an amateur, but i've got enough hours behind the DA to have my pads/compounds figured out. Dark cars have helped.... In order, i have done:
-My Silvertsone '04 RSX-S
-Best friends NBPM Civic Si
-A 2011 MV-1 - Black - Company i work for... Check it out at www.mv-1.us
-Good friends girlfriends CRV -Whatever that dark blue/purple is
-Touchups on my dads '32 roadster - Black
-My BB S2k
