Jaffa Keeping the Astons Honest
Simon and I met up with a few of the Aston owners on Saturday had some lunch and had a hoon round the Shropshire hills in the glorious sun shine!
Two S2000's keeping eight Astons at bay, great fun!

Is this on the Long Mountain above Church Stretton by the glider station? Looks like you were definitely at the Mytton n Mermaid for lunch.
Would have loved to join you for this. The long mountain is a favourite of mine to then take the Rattelinghope road north to Bishops Castle and then back down via the Hope Valley (awesome road) into Pontesbury.

Bit of an impromptu run after a lunch meet
Wewent South instead of North due to time limits but I love that route!
A488 is a nice run too, I use it to get over in to Wales

It was indeed a great run out and the front of my car now looks like it has been shotblasted Still not sure I liked the hilltop pass with no guard rail at the side but at least I didn't have a CF splitter to damage! I was amazed at how well the S2000 kept up with the Aston on the run up to lunch and kept them behind on the run after lunch. I did at one point forget that I wasn't in my old V12 Vantage and started an overtake only to realise that, although I had dropped a gear, I wasn't in the VTEC zone and I was rapidly running out of road!! That was scary and lesson learnt
