Default Help need a Specialist

Hi the great helpful people of the forum I need a recommendation for a Honda guy in Kent I have a vibration that's driving me mad and making the car not enjoyable to drive.

Its not wheel balancing or buckled rims.

Can you be more specific when it happens? Are you lowered?

Sounds like pitted inner cv buckets?

It does sound like the problem that occurs when the s2k is lowered a lot, although I wouldn't have thought that 25 and 30mm was that much. Worth checking out those cv buckets though.

I had a vibration on mine recently, it was mainly under load and at higher revs. It would instantly disappear as soon as I lifted off the accelerator. Internet diagnosis is never 100% but if your handy with the tools you can check it and swap side to side if you don't want to replace them just yet, it gives you time to save for the parts etc

The inner cv buckets were replaced and it doesn't do it any more.

Yeah I'd check your CV cups mate.

I was dubious at first as I am on the same drop as yours and there was a good amount of pitting. Swapped em and regreased and all was good

I read about that as well, some folks put spacers on to move where it get's grooved in, since lowering it only a small amount will cause them not to fit in the same groove anymore, you get vibration:
