Cars & Coffee Taunton, MA 2015
Cars & Coffee Taunton, MA 2015.
Nice cars are coming out of hibernation so its time to post a new thread for C&C.
Although, the meets tend to be largely Porsches and a few Lotus cars, it is open to all makes. Preference is to keep things low key so we don't attract unwanted attention - So don't bring friends who like to do burnouts/donuts etc.
Location: Starbucks Parking Lot (toward the back), Taunton, MA (65 H Taunton Depot Drive, Taunton, MA 02780)
Date: Every other Sunday (Weather Permitting) Starting May 24, 2015.
Exception during June we will only be meeting on June 7th and June 28th, as there are other car events that some of our regulars may want to attend. In July will resume every other weekend.
Time: 9:30 AM until whenever
Location Description: The location is perfect for this type of get together. The traffic is light on Sunday Mornings since most of the stores are still closed. We often get people that will stop by to look at the cars and ask questions and we have never had any bad experiences. Local patrols also leave us alone which is nice. If we get a big draw of cars we can always park at the Circuit City parking lot across the street which has a huge lot and no traffic.
Weather Permitting: Most of us don't mind meeting up on cold or overcast days but rain really spoils this one since we are standing outside. If it's raining or looks like it will assume the GTG is cancelled. We may schedule for the following weekend if there's interest.
I will try to provide updates & reminders so everyone knows when the next GTG will be.
Looking forward to catching up with our regulars and meeting some new car friends too.

A bit meet where? Can you put a link in a new thread on the forum, some folks might be interested. Dean, thanks for posting. We enjoyed Cars and Coffee when we went last year. I think we're going to be digging in the dirt the weekend of the 24th. Lots of planting to do to make the yard pretty, but hopefully, we'll catch up with you another Sunday.

The meets a facebook event search nsx and s2000 meet there not positive on a location yet but last year they had it at colt state park they have videos on youtube it was a pretty good turn out

Hi Lainey, Rick, and Dmulhafamosos,
no worries if the 24th doesn't work for you guys. Its been a tough winter and this is a very busy month! With Mother's Day this weekend and some car clubs having group drives on Sundays in May, the 24th seemed like the first available day to meet. Have a great weekend and hope to catch up with you all at future events.

Went to a Cars & Coffee on Saturday at Larz Anderson. Free in every respect and cool turn out of cars. May be even cooler than the dedicated marque shows as the variety was great.
