Curborough Sprint Course Event

Given the success of our first Curborough Sprint Day, we have decided to run another!

To see how good the event really is, have a look at the Curborough thread from last time.

The format of a Sprint Day is one car at a time on a set layout against the clock, using the track's timing equipment.

We will be running the Long Course in the morning, and the Figure of 8 Course in the afternoon.

When & where is it?

Date: Friday 19th June

Time: Arrival at the track for 8:30am and we should be wrapped up by 5:30pm

Cost for the entire day is £65 per car.

Yes, as Ray says it was put up on the forum with places remaining.

When arranging the event I get some proposed dates and get a show of hands at the Cheshire Pub Meet for the most popular, which is why it fills up pretty quickly.

I directly contacted a few owners who registered interest for the last one but they were unavailable.

I'll put your name down incase there are any cancellations and will let you know directly of any future events.

People tend to PM me about this and I just edit the first post as places are filled - probably why it hasn't effectively been 'bumped' to the top.

I'll bump it for the next one.

I don't know what you mean on going thread? It was discussed at our local meet and places filled there and then. It was a fair chance for the locals to attend and opened up for the remaining places. With it being a ten car limit, it's fairly tight. We haven't fully booked it up to deny anyone a spot, as a group we have organised the event. We pay to hire the circuit and split the bill per attendees.
