Sway bars
Has anyone fitted a late rear sway bar to an early s2k?? Did it make any noticeable difference?? Looking to run a square tire setup with 245s all round and been reccommended to use a late sway bar to give more back end grip

Roll bars changed a lot between model years, so depends which MY you have and which one you want to go for. Generally they softened the rear arb and spring rates as time went on, to stop it being so snappy at the rear.
It's 'tyre' too, less of that US nonsense
Speaking of which, presume you have 8" plus front wheels to support the 245s?

Im going to be using 17x9s all round with 245s. I have a 2001 s2k so suppose i should measure the rear arb to see what i have although from the research ive done the 2000 and 2001 models had the stiffest arb of them all. Ive found a 2005 arb on ebay for cheap so was thinking this might be a gd purchase for more rear end grip??

Best to check but allegedly this is the arb rates
I'd always advise changing the rear ARB so it's equal to or less than the front (depending on spring rates) on an S2000, but it's a very personal thing.
CR is perfection imo, they got all the balance where I like it.

Divide by 56 to get kg/mm. Note 2: Edited 17Nov2010 with slight updates to spring rates per rev1 of paper.
