The entire PNW (including Oregon!! ) S2000 community, all I ask is that we all have fun, stay safe and drive responsibly--everyone is responsible for themselves!
This drive is not exclusive to just S2000's, so if you don't have an S2000, but have another sports car or something sporty please feel welcome to come along. That being said, S2000's will outnumber the rest.
Fees:
No parking fee, $8 for walking the trail to see mountain, go to the observatory, or go inside the observatory. If you have a WA forest service pass or national monument pass bring it, this will negate the fee. Each pass is good for up to three people if walking in group of threes.
Day Passes can be purchased at the Johnston Ridge Visitor Center!
The fine for walking the trail without a pass: $100!
The fine for meandering off the trail and hurting the meadow: $100 minimum.

Awesome, I am also stirring up some interest on facebook, but prefer everyone who is going to post here as well so I can have an accurate list come July. I'm confident we will have a decent showing for this drive, maybe even more than last year's 20 or so!
I have 6 saying they are going and 4 maybe's on fb, not bad for having posted this morning.
