Who is Invited?
The entire PNW (including Oregon!! ) S2000 community, all I ask is that we all have fun, stay safe and drive responsibly--everyone is responsible for themselves!

This drive is not exclusive to just S2000's, so if you don't have an S2000, but have another sports car or something sporty please feel welcome to come along. That being said, S2000's will outnumber the rest.

When and Where are we Meeting?

Gee Cee's Truck Stop in Toledo, Washington off exit 57 of I-5
We will be meeting there at 9:15-9:30a.m. with a departure time of 10:30a.m. Saturday July 18th

There is a restaurant and deli for those who arrive on time or early.

Also there is a gas station, and they should have premium on at least one or two of the pumps.

Directions can be found on the link below, but it should be pretty easy to find as it isn't far off the exit from the freeway.

Fees:
While there is no fee for parking at the Johnston Ridge Observatory parking lot, to be able to walk the scenic trail to view Mount St. Helens and be able to go inside or even walk to the observatory, a day or annual Forest Pass or Monument Pass is required.

The fee for a day use forest pass or Mount St. Helens monumental pass is $8, and each pass is good for up to three people if traveling in groups of 3's.

The pass is necessary to walk up the trail to catch a view of the mountain!
There is both a paved and non paved trail, it is not needed to go off the paved trail to catch a view of the mountain or go to the observatory as that section is paved.

Day Passes can be purchased at the Johnston Ridge Visitor Center!

The fine for walking the trail without a pass: $100!
The fine for meandering off the trail and hurting the meadow: $100 minimum.

We (the WA PNW community) have decided to push back the time of the event from meeting at 8am to meeting closer to 9:30 am and departing Gee Cee's truck stop in Toledo, WA off exit 57 at 10:30 am.

Hope I can at least a few takers, you are all more than welcome to invite a friend or two along (or three). This is not exclusive to S2000's we may have a BMW 3 series and STi going with us, not sure what what else, but I would like to encourage everyone who is interested in going and is able to. So far I am guessing we will have 15-20 vehicles going, but won't be able to say for sure until we all meet at the truck stop on Sunday.

I will copy and paste my updated PNW posting on here with the updated times. Also will do a revised forecast for both Toutle, WA and Johnston Ridge.

I won't be able to make it on the 18th. Have fun. It was a nice drive last year! Thanks for the invite!

Darn it sure was a great time last year thanks! Sorry for changing the date just one day from the event, the change in the forecast yesterday morning had me pessimistic I must admit.

We are now tentative for this Saturday the 18th, there will be no further delays.
