Default Door Mirror Removal

I fancy getting Jaffa's door mirrors painted as they have some scuff marks
I was hoping it would be an easy DIY removal job
Reading the Honda maintenance manual its a glass out and all the adjustments associated with that need removing and redoing
Anyone found an easier way?

Have you tried removing the inner door card, and seeing how it connects to the door, could be a matter of some fiddly un-bolting.

Just have some plasters handing to stop getting blood on your seats, from the cuts to your hands.
Unless you have red seats then it will be fine

I really don't recall the mirrors being much of a problem , other than need the right sockets and a long extension. There are specific holes in the door inner to access the nuts etc .

Door locks can be fiddly

Looking at the Honda manual the plastic quarter on the front edge of the door extends into the door and covers the back of the mirror mount obscuring the nuts

As per the link, it's dead easy.

Just don't forget to put the speaker back in before you put the door card back on...only an idiot would do that...
