Default MX5 v BRZ

I was in the US and bought a copy of Motor Trend, their acceleration times for both cars seem way better than what I see in British Mags. How does that work?

They seem to like the MX5 a lot.

Anyone got the test drive offer ?

Geoff

Most likely a CofE 0-60 rather than a Roman Catholic 0-62...

I drove a Camaro in the US recently. I'm amazed how little acceleration they get out of a massive V8.

I've seen the 0-60 times of the GT86/BRZ/FRS quoted as 6.2, 6.7, 7.2 and 7.6.

This is what you get with an exhaust, induction kit and remap with launch control:

Some of the US magazines use a rolling start (historical reasons due to poor traction, slushboxes etc) and yes, only go to 60. So YTMV...

But it's such a useless stat, WGAF?
