Congrats!

Yes, I listened to mine a lot at first. I find the engine note a bit buzzy/whiney in traffic, but between 6-9K there's nothing quite like it.

I do wish the V8 and V10 cars had come to fruition, though. Yo VTEC!

There's still the V8 being made in France from a pair of F20's but I haven't spoken to him for a long time, so I don't know where it's at.

You see the problem you have using two originally 4 cylinder heads, is manifold logistics.

You want the exhausts on the outside of the V - great for the left bank, the right bank...ahh...

So you flip the head 180º. Now you have a split camchain problem.

Far from straightforward.

I suppose the other bank of cylinders could fact backwards via some sort of gearing? I get a headache just thinking of what would be required to graft two S2000 I-4s into a V8.

This is the same bloke that made a V16 out of 4 x 4 cylinder heads and a W12 out of 3....I think he's got that issue sorted to be honest.
It was the crank bearings he was struggling with last time I spoke to him.

Is there a link available to let us read about this?
