I messaged that guy too and asked about headliner and glass because my glass was tinted and had a scratch on the passenger bottom side. Headliner also has some things I would see and know if it was mine. He never responded after saying it comes with all brackets. If it doesn't come with catchers, it's prob stolen and possibly mine repainted.

That hardtop on CL is definitely a fake, the oem hardtops don't have that pointy corner.

Wonder if NYPD actually put this on the official grand larceny statistics. Probably since u have video evidence. If u didn't, they would possibly ask u for receipts to file a report.

They make it hard to report things to keep the crime rate artificially low. Burglary, grand larceny and auto theft, are the main targets.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if 3-5 murders are put down as suicides per year. (Ex: Person jumps from 13 stories, easy way to get away with it, criminal wise)

They took the video for their records. They knew the price of the top cause they did research themselves and asked for sites like s2ki, s2000 classifieds and others similar where they sell parts for this car. They want to see where stuff are being sold. Idk if they really do much effort into finding it but anything is better than nothing.
