Just another thing to add to this thread. I always used to get a high pitched sound when pressing the start button, same as if you press it for too long, but it didnt matter how long I pressed it for, it would always happen. Thats gone now, after changing the cat, so bonus effect, dont know why.

It'll only improve from here on in too. Mine took about 1500 miles to steady itself out in terms of tone. SUbtle change at first, but you get a more burbly low revs noise and a lovely BWAAAAAAAAARP in vtec

Lol it really does seem to be improving since I got it. Glad I've got a whole 1500 miles of improvement.

Just a quick update. The exhaust stated rattling again at the same revs again and I thought wtf so annoying. Got it checked and it was a loose o2 sensor. All fixed now.
