I'm looking to do a JDM in dash, does anyone know of a reputable stereo shop that does solid work and can make it look good?

My friend, James, is an award winning, perennial top 100 installer in the US. he's done several JDM dash bezels in s2ks recently too. he's at Sound Innovations in Union City.

I got my stereo re-routed and re-done (from the previous owner) earlier this year at All-Pro Audio. They used to have a S2ki member on staff, so they have more than passing familiarity with the car. I'm pretty sure they did the JDM-style install. They have done lots of custom fabs before too. Feel free to give them a look: Link.

I'd have to second this. Ernie and his crew are absolute perfectionists when it comes to car audio. Had my car done there back in the day. Ernie is a good friend and will work magic. Check out Yelp reviews.

yes, Ernie and his guys are very detail oriented. they've been around for a long time and are one of, if not THE go to place for high end and quality installs in the Bay Area. they won't be the cheapest, but you can rest assured the job will be done right. for something like a JDM dash bezel install, you don't get a second chance. better to have it done right the first time, rather than risk a hack job. I've seen some pretty bad dash bezel installs.

i know for sure that at least a few other members have had their s2ks done at Sound Innovations, but i'll respect their privacy and not post details of their systems.

The rest of my system is all custom installed from my friends shop back in Kansas City, they did a great job, took their time and it shows . I have to keep the same level of quality so paying a little extra I'm fine with.
