Finally got my hands on an S2000 after years of looking for the "right" one. 2002 AP1. I am glad there is a s2000 group in Ottawa at least. Plans are to keep it stock as possible (this can chg of course...) But definitely going to have to do some valve spring retainers as a caution and some suspension work to help tame that back end a bit. Does anybody know if there is a shop in Ottawa who specializes in s2000's? Especially for the valve spring retainers.

Thanks!

Welcome to our empty board.

I like canadian tire on carling for s2k stuff. Now I know you're going to think I'm crazy, but Ralf the manager participates in a lot of the racing stuff and has worked on a few s2ks. I think for fongu he has done stuff like engine swaps, tranny, swaps. He swapped my diff. I'm pretty sure they did the valve retainer swap before.

I also heard Tapp auto can do it too. I think the rear suspension thing is a bit over blown, but if you want some fancy suspension for lapping then its good.

I wonder whos car you got?

There is a google groups of some owners here, but its pretty dead silent there too.

I would bring it to a dealer to have the valve adjustment done.
