Nanoskin vs Clay bar
#12
I have been using the Nanoscrub pad on about the last 70 vehicles in my detailing business. It is faster with equal results. I use it on my Flex polisher on a low setting which is much easier than working a clay bar. If you drop a clay bar it is toast, drop the Nanoscrub pad and simply rinse it off. Clean up after with soap and water. A good lubricant is essential. I use the Nanoskin lube which is more compatible with the pad. Dilution ratio of 10:1 works well.

I love my nanoskin.
I use it by hand so dont feel like you have to use a orbital. The orbital does cut down in elbow grease quite a bit but its much faster than the clay. Plus if you do drop the nanoskin you can just rinse it off a few times and its good as new. The clay instantly sticks rocks and sand inside.
Think of the nanoskin as like 10000 grit sand paper

The Nanoskin works well on larger surfaces, for smaller areas I prefer the Cobra clay mitt.
