loved it.
Maintenance??? Oil change maybe. Unmolested cars don't need much on return from the trip.

2K??
What was it.
$300 on gas
$160 on hotels
$100 on oil after the fact
$150 on food
the equivalent of a third of your tires so ~$300

~$1000 I figure.

Dhruv, how did you like the overall feel and performance of your new S2000 ?. Handling, exhaust sound, intake, hardtop etc... How'd it all work together ?

Handling was great. Car felt solid.

Exhaust needs something to make it a little louder although perhaps I might hear it more without the hardtop on.

Intake, I'm not so sure about yet. I have the titanium bling intake arm thing which seems kind of skinny but similar to the oem size so I don't know whether it's going to be a point of restriction or not until I get a tune.

Hardtop was adjusted and fit to the car really well. No squeaks, rattles, etc even when going over some bumpy roads.

Some work to be done though. Updates to follow in a bit

That is great.

My exhaust sounds much nicer since I've changed to a Berk HFC, it has a nice "cammy" sound in vtec now which it didn't have with the oem cat. The sound does come through better with the hardtop off. Test pipe sound might be even better than the HFC but the HFC was an improvement over the oem cat.

The intake is generally kind of quiet, a bit better with vented hoods. The metal arm is mostly bling, no real performance benefit but not likely a loss either, it does look great though.

Good to hear about the hardtop being solid. It's probably quite light to remove and install too.
