Can ya'll shorten the rear shock body's while you revalve? Or just trim down the lower attachment point to allow more shaft extension? It seems the design of the lower bolt hole wasted shock body/fluid space that could have enhanced rear travel

I agree, there was another 1/2" or so that they wasted.

Yea, my were flag s which I got from another member here but I changed valving.
You can shorten body if there is enough room in there to keep same travel. If you going stiff and not using all travel you could simply install spacer.

Just throwing my 2 cents in. I recently upgraded to the DFV's and a 255^2 setup all at the same time. I drive an AP1 that I've had for 6 months and I did about 6 auto-x days since buying it and learning to drive stick. Once I installed the coilovers I booked a track day up at Streets of Willow CCW as my inaugural on track experience (again having only auto-x experience).

I must say these coilovers are awesome. The wheels stayed firmly on the ground and the car handled wonderfully. I felt no hints of snap oversteer and the few times I even broke traction felt smooth and controlled. I was able to run a fastest time of 1:29:45 but could've gone faster if not for the fact that my OEM brakes were cooked by the end of the day.

I highly recommend them for the money and ease of adjustment. They won't be the absolute fastest but they are easy plug'n'play speed. I apologize for the poor video quality
