Default Hard top fitting kit

Hi guys, could do with some advice please.

I'm purchasing a hardtop for MY04 S2K. My car is the non-GT model so I'll need the fixing kit. Don't want to go OEM as they are far too expensive.

So first question - Izzy's or Alloy Craft fitting kit - anybody have any experience with these? Which would you recommend?

I'm a complete amateur when it comes to DIY. Will installing the fixing kit be difficult? Anyone got any pictures of the install step by step?

Ah ok. Thank you.

Alloy Craft are cheaper - but no reply from them - messaged them on here.

Izzy's have got back to me - so I reckon I'll be going with them.

They sell hardtop brackets and fastener kits separately - what exactly are they - I'm assuming I need both?

Not sure how much you are paying for the fitting kit but when I got my hardtop I got my fitting kit off Matt at injection imports,a trader on here.

I'm after a fitting kit too Glen. When I can obtain one I'll be selling my izzy brackets. Do injection imports still do them?

What fitting kit did you go for mr-pitts? If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay?

Caboose - what's the difference between the Izzy brackets and a 'fitting kit'?

I think it's Mugen and I paid around £350 for it.presumably Mugen is oem.

Spoke to Matt,he might have a spare but it isn't something he normally gets in.

Ah ok. I've emailed him but not heard back yet.
The Izzy ones work out at £290 including delivery - so if he's cheaper or equal I'll go with that.

I'm picking up the Alloy Craft fitting kit which works out at about £120 - seems a bit of a bargain.

He said he doesn't supply the 2 larger bolts and to reuse the existing ones that come with the GT model.

Mine is not a GT - anyone know exactly what size these bolts are and where I can get them from?
