In for Hamilton

Nico will take fastest lap.

Chance of Raikkonen taking a sip of "bubbles" - 35:1 . . . on podium 75:1 . . . chances to taking two sips, because he really wants what's in *that venue's bottle* 700:1

Comparisons by commentator between Maldonado and JPM because of unnecessary NASCAR allusions = 2

Ratio of FSB to GAZPROM members on yachts in marina = 7.35:1

Ratio of FSB on Kvyat - 20. . . that you can see.

Shots of female celebrities dressed in culturally-sensitive scarves = 10

Shots of female celebrities dressed in culturally-inappropriate attire = 7

. . . Joking aside, I am somewhat concerned this will be too rich a target, and may get postponed, cancelled, restricted. . .

I think Lewis will just be pissed and even if he qualies P2, he may actually try to run his own strategy. If he gets Pole, game over.

Just realized I did not even vote for this race. I was in and out and busy with Thanksgiving travel. In any case I hope all of you (that celebrate) have had a Happy Thanksgiving.

I thought the race had some entertaining moments. Seb's drive from the back of the grid was good. Carlos Sainz added to the excitement and it was good to see Max Verstappen and Jenson Button battling it out. Max, BTW is four points away from a ban. I wonder if that will be reset for next season. Kimi drove well at last and it was good to see him back on the podium. Sergio Perez put on a good show and hopefully things will be better for him at the possible Aston Martin team next season.

Sabbatical-gate seemed to over shadow the weekend. Wonder if things will go south with Fernando and Ron Dennis again. But that will be something for the off-season/silly season thread.

Christan Horner on BBC F1 Forum - "I know that I've got an agreement for the supply of an engine next year. And wait and see what it's called. It will be something quite good. I don't think Ron Dennis will be too happy but he's not been very happy recently."

He's got to be talking about a Honda engine, right? Buying a Renault wouldn't make Ron Dennis unhappy. Perhaps a Honda engine with Redbull ERS? Now I'm itching to find out. Christian says there will be an announcement this week.

Was expecting this to be a whimper but was actually entertained for most of it. Nico needs to carry this momentum into 2016 and give the Instagram hero some heavier competition.
