Why not a 6POT that can fit in a 17"?

I would buy the 18". Specially if you're going turbo lol

I have the 8pot 330 kit and loads of wheels "fit", with that kit your looking at 18's.

Surely the dixcel discs and pads would be up to the job. Will you really be going that much quicker at the end of each straight compared to a non turbo S.

I'm guessing your initial acceleration out of a corner will be the same or less than a stock S and it's only in a straight line you'll be quicker.

even if you did buy the same size wheel all round doesn't mean you have to run the same size tyre. a 225/45/17 will fit nicely on a 9 j for the front and a 255/40/17 for the rear.

also what has the number of pistons on the calliper got to do with the size of wheel. What size disks are you wanting to run?

I'm running big brakes which require 18s and I've got 18x8.5 et 44s on the front and they clear the brakes easily enough.

Matty runs Urge design wheels, they are expensive.....they are up in Volks racing territory price wise.

You can get anything to fit but it's going to cost you unless you go down the Rota route.I've got a set that will go on for sale but you'll need to do arch work on the rear.

Mr pitts i could be interested in these wheels you have forsale, been reading up on that urge website,id never heard of them until now

Har-vey the discs that came with the second hand set of brakes are just about done so i could just buy a set of caliper carriers and new discs to suit, and i also used to run smaller tyres on the front to the rear on the bmw i used to own,but i just thought the lad had fobed me off instead of getting a staggared fit wheel due to lack of stock.

Rattys2k yeah i go at a fair bit
More pace than when it didnt have a turbo strapped to it,i was entering top corner at about 80-85ish and now hitting it at 110- 115ish.

Earthworm jim, i have the bigger discs, the disc itself fills a 17inch wheel with around a skinny fingers width around the outside.

I think my over all conclusion is to perhaps buy smaller discs, better pads and a set of 18's with different width tyres,or the other option seen as the car is away for winter is that i may have a bash at creating a set of rear overfenders from scratch and go from there

Thanks all for your imput!
