Sounds just like tyre pressures or alignment. And given that you've checked your pressures...

In a straight line?

Have you checked they're on the right way round?

I thought they were great tyres when paired with RE002 on the front.

Now that is a good suggestion dembo. I'll check tonight.

RE002 fronts will follow in spring.

Also might be worth considering the time of year. I think I'm right in saying the S001 is classed as a "summer tyre" so obviously won't perform at its best when it's colder and damp/greasy. just a thought...

Ratty, also check to see if the tyres were manufactured in the same plant and made within a month or two apart, slight differences like this can have that affect.
It's an annoying feeling, I changed tyres and it all went away.

Run Flat tires are heavier than normal tires, as they are reinforced in the sidewall.
They also tend to wear out faster than normal tires, as the tire compound is softer to compensate for the harsness of the RFT's sidewall reinforcements.
And i'm pretty sure they're more costly as well..

I wouldn't use them unless the car came with RFT's from the factory.
