Can anyone lend me a 250lb/ft torque wrench?
Evening chaps,
I've been trying all day to find somewhere to hire a 250lb/ft torque wrench around the Fife area but after a day of making phone calls really can't find anyone,
Is anyone ok to lend me one if they own one? It would be just for an afternoon and there's no rush. I have my parts on order but Not looking to do the bearings for a couple of weeks yet.
Even if anyone knows of a place that hires then out I would be massively appreciative of the contact info.
Cheers
Earl

Is this for re-fitting the hub nut?
Because you manage to break it with a big bar or piping, you'll be-able to return the nut to its original position in the same way (using the original Honda stake mark / paint as a guide) without the need for a torque wrench.

Certainly is mate, suppose that does seem like the most reasonable compromise to getting a similar torque of the nut. I just sometimes like to know for certain it is as it should be. Probably not gonna make any odds realistically splitting the difference of about 5 lb/ft precision.

Hey, might be a bit late but I have wrench that maxes out at 250 lb/ft, I'm in Dunfermline.
Oh I see your not needing it right away, so pm me.
