Yup, definitely wind tunnel tested. Can't find any numbers on it but here's a pic of it on the Top Fuel S2000:

Not an engineer (far from it) but wouldn't the duckbill's impact on drag reduction be somewhat dependent on the rest of the car's aero package? Mugen style roof vs OEM style, swan neck wing vs normal, etc?

Definitely, although the duckbill is designed specifically to lower drag and increase downforce on S2K's with GT wings. It seems to work pretty well on both of the cars mentioned above, as well as Evasive's car with the same wing as mine.

Without any numbers I can't say for sure, but the car felt more slippery down the back straight to me.

Great build thread bud. Really enjoyed reading and seeing where you go with this.

It could always just be more drag due to more of a head wind as well. Just saying you can't definitely say that the duckbill gave you 2 MPH.

Yeah that's fair enough, I didn't mean to suggest that I'm 100% sure it was solely the duckbill. Just that it seemed to help with that trap speed after being installed.

You're right about the wind too, it started to pick up after the 2nd session and was blowing west.
