That is why I spent some serious money on dampers and sway bar, then let the pros set the valving and spring rates based on my car and style of driving.
HOME - ANZE Suspension

Each time I have an oil changed or a valving change, each damper is put on a special dyno and is checked for resistance.
I also get a printout showing me the exact dampening curve (both compression and rebound).

Yes - it is costly but so is track time so I bite the bullet and spend the money up front so that I can get the very most out of my track days.
Makes for a much more enjoyable experience during each event.

Just my 2 cents.
How often do you find that you have to have the oil changed? I'm guessing you would start to have some adverse handling characteristics. I'm still only 1 season in on these coilovers, but would be good to know for future reference.

Many factors come into play to determine when it is time to change oil, biggest would be how many days a year you go on track. Also depends a lot on your valving and what weight oil you run and if you have remote canisters. If you do 20+ days a year then every 2 years would be an average.

But seat of the pants is also a good indicator, if you revisit a track and find you are cranking down the adjusters to help compensate for an ill handling car then you are probably due.
Many times the seals begin to leak, so the oil maybe still good but you are loosing oil and nitrogen pressure so you are forced to tear them down.

I just found this article on sway bars.

glad to hear it! Mine should arrive on Thursday. Hopefully it's enough to get me around the need for a roll bar. If not, at least I'll enjoy the lower driving position and not have to crane my neck.

I run with NASANE with no roll bar no problem. I did with them before and after lowering my seat at Lime Rock with no question.
