Default New Resident! Orlando to Eugene

Hello fellow s2kers!

Thought I give a hello to the community since this will be my new home for a few years.

When the weather lets up, I'll be driving around an '05 Silverstone with mugen wing and mugen exhaust. Otherwise, my daily will be the '07 Acura TL Type-S silver.

Any pointers in safety, cops, weather, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Marlon

Welcome Marlon, I've lived in Eugene since 01 and I've only experienced maybe 2 bad winters.

Thanks all!

I want to ask if y'all know the severity of car theft in the area? I managed to get an underground parking spot so I'm okay there, but leaving it out at night for long periods? I've been hearing (and reading) some stories, not sure what to make of them.

I'm not sure you have to worry too much in Eugene, though I cant say for sure.

I know in Bend, I parked regularly during the day with my AP1, top down and ever had a problem.
It spent many years parked out in the driveway at night too
