It has a stronger flavor than chicken, but still mild compared to duck, for instance. They are small, so eating them takes some work, but it will be worth it.

a brisk morning for a walk but got it in. according to garmin, 540 calories worth.
I was rather disappointed to find that it takes 7,000 calories to burn a pound of fat.
others have said that number is actually to low.

Not what I heard:
Because 3,500 calories equals about 1 pound (0.45 kilogram) of fat, you need to burn 3,500 calories more than you take in to lose 1 pound. So, in general, if you cut 500 calories from your typical diet each day, you'd lose about 1 pound a week (500 calories x 7 days = 3,500 calories).Apr 11, 2015

I can burn about 3000 calories on a high HR zone 60 mile bike ride. Then eat a low calorie low fat meal for dinner with carbs to restore the glycogen levels.
